Before plucking, the poultry must be immersed in hot water 52-55°C. The birds are then plucked in wet condition. The plucking machine is ideal for pheasants, chickens, ducks and geese. The plucking process for chickens takes only about 45 seconds.
For geese, several plucking processes are required because otherwise the feathers would dry again over the entire plucking time.
