The commercial standard grain food contains vitamin-E in variable quantity and quality, depending on the season of the year. An additional ration of vitamin-E is advisable in times of high need (for example during the whole breeding period).
The most important functions of vitamin E: Vitamin-E, also called fertility vitamin, regulates the development and function of the gonad, protects from troubles of fertility and hatching out as well as high embryo mortality caused by a lack of vitamins E. Therefore it has a regulating effect on the hormone metabolism, it stimulates the formation of antibodies and is an important protection for the liver.
Application:
Give before pairing and each week before the next egg-laying 10 ml per litre of water during 5 following days.
