Our black polyethylene nets are perfectly suitable for professional covering of runs, enclosures, pond and breeding facilities. Due to their incredible durability and strength, we recommend them especially for covering very large areas. The nets also find special attention in the construction of aviaries and have a great resonance in this area as well.

In addition to our own breeding facilities, the polyethylene nets are also used in numerous bird and animal parks - this clearly speaks for the quality of the nets.

You receive the netting in any size (length and width), custom-made according to your specifications and requirements. As each net is individually manufactured, please allow approximately 2 weeks for delivery. Since this is a custom-made product, returns are unfortunately not possible.

Mesh Size Guidelines:
A 10 cm mesh size is already sufficient to prevent hawks from passing through the net except in extremely rare cases. A 4 cm mesh size is suitable for keeping pigeons out. If you also want to prevent sparrows from passing through, you would need a 2.5 cm mesh size, or preferably 2 cm. However, with such small mesh sizes there is a much greater risk of snow accumulating on the net. The net itself is strong enough that it will not tear under the weight of snow, but the aviary structure may collapse under the snow load. The smaller the mesh size, the more important it is to remove accumulated snow from the net in a timely manner.

Installation Instructions:
The best method is to first secure all four corners so that the net is fully stretched. This minimizes the risk of installing it unevenly, which could prevent it from reaching its intended dimensions. Once the corners are secured, you can easily fasten the four sides.

For fastening and tying the net, we offer 100 m rolls made from the same material and in the same thickness (1.2 mm) as the net.

Alternatively, you can secure one corner first, then temporarily fasten the two adjacent sides alternately at intervals of approximately 1 meter. As soon as possible, fully stretch the net and secure all four corners. To help ensure the net remains properly aligned during this temporary side fastening, it is very useful to thread a thicker cord through the mesh along the full length of each side. This provides additional stability to the net. We offer 100 m rolls of this cord made from the same material as the net, but in a thicker 4 mm diameter. This cord can also serve as a permanent support and fastening aid.

Using this alternative installation method, it is even possible to pull the net over a taller center post. However, it is generally easier to install the center post after the net has been mounted, using it to lift the already-installed net into position. If you choose this type of aviary design, please note that the net must be larger than the actual floor area in both dimensions. The additional size required can be calculated using the Pythagorean theorem, or by creating a scale drawing and measuring it accordingly.
